How to write a good essay in English?

The question of how to write a good essay in English spends sleepless nights not only with students in the so-called. IB (International Baccalaureate Program), but also "ordinary" high school students and - probably first of all - people of different ages preparing for different types of language exams (TOEFL, IELTS, FCE, CAE).

It should be assumed that the form of essay in English learning will be found in all years and at all levels after elementary school: this is not only the curse of high school graduates, but also one of the most common opportunities for writing assignments while studying. If you find it difficult to figure it out on your own, you can ask the professionals for help at https://payforessay.pro/.

The key aspect here is also the form - what we often call essays, especially during exams like FCE, IELTS or even CAE, is just a form of a fairly short essay - often a variation of the essay (the names of these forms are sometimes even interchangeable), critical essay or longer commentary.

Subjectivism and a certain compositional freedom of this kind add the notorious oil to the fire.

So what should a good essay contain?

The word essay itself comes from the French essay for a trial. It is not really about solving a dilemma or solving a problem, but about the process of solving them. Thus, the essayist opens the path of his travels to the recipient.

We have several options. Let's try to look at the essay from different angles:

1. Topic:
vague, sometimes very free associations and references, thoughts, reflections - interjections, digressions, discussions of certain elements, mental contractions, examples and comparisons.

2.nonlinearity:
there is no obligation to maintain the chronological or hierarchical order of the arguments and examples given.

3. Scientific literature:
the essay talks about real events and phenomena (or sometimes: real events), so we do not need to over-build the story, we do not need hundreds of heroes or even deeper lessons from the quoted story.

Most Common Essay Types When Learning English
Attention! I will not touch upon purely academic essays here. Although they are based on the types that I will mention a little later, they are related to certain specific guidelines for which, unfortunately, there is no place in this post, but I will definitely introduce this topic in the future.

In the extended matriculation examination, during study or during the language exam, we most often come across written statements, such as:

a) opinion and discursive opinion

b) pros and cons - the most reasoned option,

c) problem solving.

Certain types require special solutions. But let's return for a moment to the general problem.

Thanks to the three guilds presented above, we have quite a few lexical possibilities. However, it should be remembered that our statement should be (!) Consistent, logical and understandable for the addressee - after all, we are not writing the work of life, but work, in the end, the final work for which you receive points. by a special key.
